Honda Civic GX




Honda Motors designed their new sedan named 2011 Civic GX, fully-equipped and natural gas-powered vehicle. It runs on the Compressed Natural Gas and produces very low emission compared to the gasoline engines. Also it is the world’s cleanest internal-combustion vehicle.

Features:
The new 2011 Honda GX has 113 hp, 1.8liter, i-VTEC 4-cyclinder engine which runs on the compressed natural Gas instead of gasoline. It produces about 113 hp @ 6300 rpm & 109 lb-ft. of torque at 4300 rpm. This Hybrid variant exclusively features the continuously variable transmission delivering an EPA fuel economy of 40mpg in city and about 45 mpg on the highway. The maximum capacity of the fuel tank of this variant is 8.0 GGE which is 3,600 pounds/sq. inch. The standard version has automatic transmission with a 5 speed gearbox.

Standard equipment includes 15-inch steel wheels with covers, P195/65R15 tires, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows with auto up/down driver’s window, power door locks, keyless entry, a 160-watt AM/FM Audio System with CD Player, auxiliary audio input jack, multi-function center console with sliding armrest and progressive blue illumination instrument panel meters.

Safety features of car includes: the Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure; side curtain airbags; driver’s and front passenger’s side airbags with a passenger-side Occupant Position Detection System; and dual-stage, multiple-threshold driver’s and front passenger’s front airbags. Active front-seat head restraints are designed to help reduce the likelihood of neck injury in the event of a rear collision. Additional safety features include an anti-lock brake system with electronic brake distribution and a pedestrian injury mitigation design incorporated into the front exterior of the vehicle.
