New Concpet Daimler Truck
Daimler Trucks North America has been with the Mid-America Trucking Show in Kentucky to release the newest concept in commercial-quality traffic. To take innovation Concept Truck introduced fuel-saving innovations in the Freightliner Cascadia, which already includes the aerodynamic truck companies, and turns them into eleven.
Included is the aero tweak in the rear panels, underbody skid plates, a roof deflector and front air splitter. In addition, the side mirror was replaced with a camera to reduce drag. Once up to speed, ride height truck innovations using the swim bladder to reduce, to further reduce fuel consumption. Wireless tire pressure monitoring system data to the onboard navigation / infotainment screen in the cabin. Also present on new trucks from Freightliner RunSmart Predictive Cruise Control.
