Motor Tercepat Di Dunia Dari Suzuki
Texas - Banyak perusahaan berlomba dalam membuat mobil atau motor tercepat di dunia, rupanya tidak hanya perusahaan otomotif yang berusaha membuat kendaraan tercepat, di Texas telah terpecahkan rekor dunia terbaru yaitu seorang pembalap mampu membawa motornya mencapai 448.3 km/jam.
Pembalap yang mampu memecahkan rekor dunia bernama Bill Warner di Texas, Amerika Serikat. Bill Warner menggunakan motor Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa yang memiliki mesin 1299 cc + turbocharger, liquid-cooled inline 4 yang sudah di modifikasi supaya menghasilkan kecepatan tertinggi sehingga dapat memecahkan rekor dunia dengan 448.3 km/jam. Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa milik Bill Warner merupakan produksi tahun 2005, di tangan Warner Suzuki GSX1300R mampu menghasilkan tenaga hingga 650 hp dengan torsi mencapai 314 lb-ft.
Pembangunan Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa dilakukan secara bertahap selama 3 hari di Texas Mile yang melibatkan 76 motor dan 173 mobil yang saling beradu kecepatan, sebelum mencapai kecepatan 448.3 km/jam, Warner telah mampu mencapai 435 km/jam dan telah mematahkan rekor dunia sebelumnya yaitu 420.8 yang dicetak pada bulan Maret 2010.
