Honda Accord Euro Updated for Europe

Everyone is very eager to know about the Honda Accord Euro updates which have been recently launched in the Geneva Motor Show in March. Even though the car is yet to be launched, people are eager to know about the various aspects of the car from the images which has been officially released in the event. In fact Accord in Europe is a pretty famous Japanese car, which is preferred by many. It has also been found that Accord is one of the best and reliable vehicles in the world, which has been proved with the numerous road tests.

Honda’s one of the most prestigious cars, Accord Euro will be more refined both in design and in technology and will be released in the Europe and Australian market. Even though the image of Honda Accord Euro which has been released officially is for the European market, the Australian version of the same model of car will be released, with a few changes in design that has been showed in Geneva.

As far the styling and design of the car is concerned, apart from the change in exterior and interior of the car’s layout, the engineers has also kept in mind about the fuel efficiency, about the emissions, ride and also the quality. Another important factor which has been kept in mind in this model of Honda Accord Euro is about the NVH level, i.e. the noise, vibration and harshness levels. The car’s engine in the European version is of 2.2 litre diesel one, which has been planned keeping in mind about the fuel efficiency and also about the frictional losses. The diesel version of the car which will be available in the European market will not be available in the Australian market right now.

While styling the Honda Accord Euro, certain changes have been made in the exterior of the car. The lights and the bumpers, both in the front and back have been given a “clear appearance”. The front indicators of the car have also been changed from amber to the clear lenses. The front part of the car also has a new grille along with two central chrome bars.

As far the Australian model of Honda Accord is concerned, it will also include changes in indicators, head lights, tail lights, front and rear bumpers, along with the grille design. Apart from the standard colours available, there are few extra colours which will be available in the European market. Even though there are no pictures available for the interior of the car, there will be some changes in the seats, door linings and some o the other surfaces.

While designing this car, engineers have kept in mind about lessening frictional losses, with higher fuel efficiency and by using rolling resistance tyres. In fact the transmission has also been improved to an automatic one. Higher density foam has also been used and sound deadening shields, which were absent in the previous model of cars.
