AC Schnitzer have revealed their tuning program named as new 2011 BMW 5 Series Touring, This include enhancements in terms of performance as well as in the looks department. These also offer power upgrade kits for the various diesel versions of the new station wagon.

AC Schnitzer has tweaked the 2.0-liter oil-burner unit on the 520d. The engine is capable of producing power of up to 218 hp. The car also has a 3.0 liter straight six engine on the 525d that produces a power of 245 hp. The engine in the model 530d delivers a power of 286 hp, whereas the 535d engine offers power of 360 hp.
Exterior changes and modifications are fitted with a chromed twin sports rear silencer, a chromed front grille, carbon fiber spoiler elements, bonnet vents, new side skirts, a rear roof spoiler, a new rear spoiler and the tuner’s wide range of 19- and 20-inch lightweight alloys. Interior of car comes with aluminium pedals and foot rest, new floor mats, the aluminium cover for the i-Drive system and carbon fiber inserts across the dashboard and door panels.

The first is “Racing” which can be installed an all diesels except the 535d. The second is the “Sports Trim”, which is offered for the 520d, 530d, 535d, as well as for the 535i and 550i petrol models.
